How To Do A BMX Tuck No Hander

This is the start of our How-To video section, where we will be breaking down BMX tricks into easy steps that you can practice and perfect for faster progression. This setup is using a DIY ramp onto our Pro NextStep Lander - but the basics are the same no matter what you are using!

Check out the video right here, then check out the breakdown below:

Step 1 - PULL THE BARS, DIP YOUR HEAD

You can practice this on the ground, just like Todd did in the video. Once you are comfortable with the motion, you can move on to Steps 2+3 pretty quickly.

STEP 2: PINCH YouR KNEES

Now that your weight is forward and you are tucked into the bars, pinch your knees so you can hold onto the bike for the next part.

STEP 3: SPIRIT FINGERS

Get comfortable by taking small steps. Once you have the knee pinch down, try pulling your hands just a bit. A little bit at a time will give you the confidence to start taking them further away from your grips.

STEP 4: LEARN TO LET GO

Practicing each step until you are super comfortable with it will help you progress faster and safer. Don’t get frustrated if you aren’t pulling BMX No Hander Trains on your first day - you’ll get it!
